Hi friends,
I’m back on here. Cheers to the freakin weekend! I’m happy to be back on here finally. I missed it, but I had to focus on myself + work. I created this website to share my passions, work life, and adventures with you all. So, from the bottom of my heart thanks for being apart of this crazy journey of mine. I never thought I would create a website and influence people in such a positive way through my own experiences. But I am forever grateful for the support I have received from every one of you. It’s honestly a blessing. So, I decided to stop blogging since my mindset was not up for it because I was just not happy with myself. I felt very burned out from balancing school, internships, plus a full-time job and then blogging can all be overwhelming. But, I needed alone time with myself to find that spark that was inside of me before. Which I finally found it, so I feel refresh and feel inspired/creative by everything that I have been personally doing on my own. I can’t wait for the next few months for the upcoming projects + events I will be bringing to life.
Yesterday was the Happy Hour for Network To Networth Chicago at WeWork. It’s been another project I have been working hard on for the last few months. It has also been the first time being in charge and being a Chicago coordinator to putting an event all together that two female co-founders Fatou Barry and Rachel Gordon have founded. Bringing Netwerk To Networth vision to life through experiential marketing has been a blessing in disguise. I am so happy to be part of this fantastic female team. The experience and inspiration I have gained by working closely to these two amazing boss ladies have been the best thing I have ever come across. From strategic planning, event marketing, and public relations the endless hours of dedication and passion has all paid off.
To kick-off Netwerk To Networth pre-event, our team was fortunate to partner up with WeWork as the happy hour venue. WeWork is a co-working space located in Chicago’s trendy River North neighborhood from private offices and desks. Attendees enjoyed drinks from Sumptuous Spirits while connecting with fellow conference attendees and snapping away with our partners at Samsung.
I can’t wait for our conference event later today at EvolveHer. Tune into my Insta stories + Snapchat for all of the behind the scenes you won’t want to miss it 🙂
Thanks for being apart of my journey and sticking with me through all the highs + lows. I can’t thank you all enough! Stay tune for new blog posts to come.
Love Always,
Yessi Bause
