I had the opportunity to attend an exclusive fireside chat + book signing with Elaine Welteroth, former Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue Magazine and and judge on the new Project Runway.

Personally I was nervous to meet her, I’ve met many people within this industry. However, I was so nervous to meet her I even forgot my own name and what I currently do. OMG. But she was such a sweet humble soul when I finally had a quick chat.
A few takeaways she brought up:
- Being authentic it’s a buzzword that keeps being thrown from left to right.
- Don’t be afraid to be apply to be the first ever.
- Do everything with passion.
